LISTENING TO YOU AND KEEPING YOU INFORMED
Organising a communication process for the 2.6 million residents of the West Midlands is a challenging task however with your help we can identify a solution that is effective in representing you. There are a number of groups, organisations and agencies that I will work with in order to support and contribute to this process. It is thought that between 7 and 10 million people nationally do not have access to the Internet this will include a large number of people in the West Midlands. Other members of our communities, for a number of reasons cannot read script. This is a significant difficulty for a democratic process as the only information source at the moment is the Internet.
I will:

I will:
- Listen to what you want and work with the police to develop a practical communication plan which works for you and your community
- Work with individuals and organisations to contact ‘hard to reach’ groups who do not have access to these channels or perhaps isolated by disability and language difficulties
- Not hide behind a ‘communication process’. I will keep you informed through public meetings, community visits and events, traditional media and social media.
